Located at the heart of 86th street—transportation, shopping, and street vendors in all four directions. This spot offers plenty of seating and some of the most delicious chai. They can get busy at times, but they never disappoint with their hospitality. Great sit and sip spot for a quick break or a sit and work option (free wifi and quiet enough). Highly recommend!

Delicious! Best spinach/feta EVER - crusty, buttery, and perfectly seasoned! Warm and friendly staff too! Very nutty coffee and I got a wonderful dry cappuccino too!

Qahwa house is the OG for a reason! Adeni chai is the best one (I’ve tried many other adeni chai’s in the neighborhood). I’ve gotten the small pot, even if it was just for myself for the aesthetic because it’s a nice cafe. Whatever the milk to cardamom to tea ratio is… it’s perfection. Same with the honeycomb bread—perfect. Other shops feel dry or not cooked enough. I have not found their specialty and seasonal drinks to hit in the same way though, truthfully, so I just stick to the adeni. Also, get it with some sugar it’s worth it. It’s a large shop with plenty seating, but ofc, can get crowded during peak holiday season and Ramadan, as expected. By the way, they are not good at reminding you to plug your phone # in for points, and sometimes skip the screen altogether, and then i got the sense that it was a hassle to re-ring for the service worker based on the reaction I got…so be sure to say it in advance or prepare to just lose the points for that day because sometimes it’s less hassle not to ask

Nice and welcoming spot has quite a few traditional options as well as various exciting Yemeni coffees along with pastries, also quite delicious. My jubani coffee tasted nothing like coffee (which I was warned about by the barista, so no complaints there) and abundant ginger in it made for a wonderful way to warm up on a cold day!
