Rarely are good drinks and stylish interiors found in common cafes these days. This spot have both offerings! I tried the pistachio matcha latte with macadamia milk, and my taste buds have not been the same since then! The best part is the feature of local artist work which is an added service to the community! The nook at the corner next to the windows yells cozy vintage! The most impression detail is the varieties of ethnic textiles used to furnish the space!

I have visited dozens of cafes throughout Brooklyn and beyond. The Healing Bean is one of the homiest and warmest that I've gotten to know. When I entered through the front door of this cafe for the first time, it felt like I was entering someone's living room. The walls were painted inviting green and brown colors punctuated with locally-made artwork and library books. There is a giant and smaller teddy bear that helps add whimsy to the atmosphere. The low-voltage lighting and overhanging foliage helps add to the warmth of the overall environment. The coffee is good and they have several different pastries and teas on the menu. There are several acai bowls and smoothies offered as well as over a dozen savory food items, including labneh, salmon and cream cheese crepe, turkey bacon cheese sandwich, zaatar sandwich, cheese omelette, and Dubai chocolate crepe. There is a shelving unit with games and fun activities for both children and adults. When I visited this place one Sunday afternoon, there was an eclectic mix of individuals working on their laptops and friends engaging in lively conversations. The owner Hassan wants to use his cafe to promote community and cultural events. He truly wants to connect with his neighborhood and I think that is very admirable.

Beautiful and artistic coffee shop with a warm, relaxing atmosphere. You’ll be amazed by the variety of unique coffee drinks. My favorite is the date and cocoa smoothie—it’s absolutely delicious! The food is just as impressive. Every dish is beautifully presented, tastes unique, and is made with great attention to detail. It’s the perfect place to catch up with a friend, enjoy the lively atmosphere, and unwind after a busy day at work. I highly recommend visiting if you’re looking for great coffee, amazing food, and a cozy place to relax.

Was looking for places to get matcha in the neighborhood and decided to give this place a try based on the pics and reviews. Can confidently say I was not disappointed. The person taking our order was kind and funny and gave us helpful recommendations for our first time there. We got the nutella and banana crepe and the strawberry matcha and mango matcha. Was pleasantly surprised with how good everything was. I thought the crepe was a bit small compared to other places but it was actually quite layered and full and every bite left me wanting more from how good it was. The matchas were also really good. After mixing fully, the mango matcha tasted more of mango while the strawberry matcha tasted more of matcha. But can't go wrong with either. Everything was reasonably priced and the atmosphere inside the cafe was cozy and comfy. Would definitely come back here again.

Come check out the Healing Bean in Bay ridge ! Honestly the best latte I ever had and they have so many choices. The owner Hassan was so sweet and helpful with suggestions. You can tell everything was mad with love and unique. I love the space and will definitely be back.
