I went to this place to get an Americano and I forgot my wallet. One of the people sitting there was friends with the owner and paid for my drink even though I said I’d run back to my apartment to get my wallet. I did run back in the heat and went back to Crafted cafe but they refused my money and said it was a gift. This is why I love Bay Ridge! People are so friendly no matter what belief you have.

probably one of my favorite spots in the whole city! family run, with coffee, tea, baked goods, and food. what makes it special is that everything is made by the family. from small cookies when you want to quickly satisfy your sweet tooth, to cake slices, to delicious platters. the drinks are great too. they don’t brand themselves as a yemeni cafe, because they’re much more than that, but they offer yemeni specialties as well, in addition to solid espresso drinks. when it comes to most cafes, you often have to choose between good food and good drinks, but not here. service and offerings are great and diverse and make you feel like you’re visiting someone’s kitchen. i cant hype it up enough!

Absolutely dreamy. “Made with love” infuses every aspect of this experience. It is so relaxing to get a Yemeni tea and a little cookie (all well-priced) and sit for a while. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

Crafted Café was lovely! We tried their signature iced cream latte and it was so smooth and refreshing. The cardamom tea was comforting and flavorful, and the egg and cheese croissant was fresh, flaky, and filling. Everything tasted well made and comforting. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to others.

Stopped by after the them to try their mocha latter and wow, it was incredible! Perfect balance of rich chocolate and smooth coffee flavor, not too sweet, just right. You can tell everything’s made with care and love. Excited to come back and try more, next up: the raspberry orange fresh drink. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
