I visited Sottocasa again last night, and this place never fails to impress me. Every visit gets better! I tried the calzone this time, and it was absolutely delicious—you could tell how amazing it was just from the aroma. The service was top-notch; both the manager and our waiter were incredibly warm, patient, and took the time to talk me through the different pizzas on the menu. With its cozy ambiance and welcoming vibe, I truly felt right at home. If you haven't been to Sottocasa yet, don't miss out!

Second time trying this place and unfortunately disappointing all around, which was surprising due to the amount of 5 star reviews. Service was slow, and not particularly friendly, even though there were only 2 other tables. Pizza sauce was pretty flavorless and both crusts were incredibly soggy from the toppings. Salad was great, but not enough to make us visit again. We will stick to Jules in bk heights.

Perfect cozy Italian place to happen across on a rainy Friday evening. The salads were delicious and margharita and truffle/mushroom pizzas as well.

Super cool place with unbelievably fast service, good food, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. My wife and I both got pizzas. They're a good size for one person without leaving you stuffed or taking any away. I had the special that night that had capocolla, asparagus, white sauce and truffle oil. It was pretty great. Truffle oil wasn't too over powering and everything balanced nicely. I recommend.

Got take out while in the city and man this was some great pizza! Friendly staff, fast service with amazing flavor! Very happy I made the stop! The atmosphere is old school and chill with a great Italian vibe! Will be a stop for me next time I am in the city!
