One of the best spots to just sit back and relax in New York. The best thing about Moka is the amazing quality they put into everything, especially the coffee. The atmosphere is so peaceful that you leave feeling refreshed and in a much better mood. Definitely one of my favorite places to unwind

While this restaurant in Bay Ridge offers a spectacular ambiance with two floors of seating—including an airy second level that provides an incredible view—it is a spot to avoid due to poor service. The staff is slow and untrained, as evidenced by my experience trying to order simple beverages. After being served a poorly made Turkish coffee, I asked for an alternative they could easily prepare. They suggested an adani chai, but despite my explicit request for it to be unsweetened, they added sugar anyway.

Moko and Coal is truly one of the most beautiful and welcoming cafés in Bay Ridge. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, with stunning natural lighting, beautiful décor, and large windows that create the perfect ambiance. The space feels both peaceful and uplifting, making it ideal for gatherings, meetings, or simply enjoying a relaxing experience. Our nonprofit had the pleasure of hosting an event there, and the hospitality and professionalism we received were exceptional. The staff was incredibly accommodating, generous, and genuinely supportive, making the entire experience seamless and memorable. It’s rare to come across a place that combines such a beautiful aesthetic with such kindness and positive energy. Highly recommend Moko and Coal to anyone looking for a café with an amazing vibe, outstanding service, and a truly special atmosphere.

I stopped by this café and really enjoyed the experience. The coffee was genuinely good, and they offer a great variety of sweets that pair perfectly with it. The space itself is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, bright, and comfortable. The only downside is that the prices are a bit on the higher side. Still, it’s a lovely spot if you’re looking to treat yourself.

Came here with a friend to study and really enjoyed it. The café has such a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the two levels mean there are plenty of seats. There’s Wi-Fi and lots of seating areas with charging ports, which makes it a great spot to get work done.The staff are friendly and the drinks are good. I especially loved the iced pistachio matcha latte with oat milk—it was delicious. The pistachio latte with espresso is also really good. I haven’t tried the desserts yet, but they looked amazing, so I’ll definitely be back to try them next time.
