Erudite is truly amazing. My son had a very negative experience at the first daycare he attended and I was worried every drop off would be plagued with tears because of it - but the staff at Erudite are so patient and engaging and warm, they were able to make him love going there. His language and social skills have blossomed and I feel secure knowing he’s well taken care of while he is there. I couldn’t recommend Erudite more.

We had the most amazing experience at Erudite! Our son attended both 18th st and 19th st locations and we are so thrilled with the Russian program! It is the best of the best, our 4 year old had the best time always learning new concepts/themes, participating in plays, learning poems by heart, they even offered chess classes. Overall, Erudite community is the best and they created the most nurturing atmosphere for our son to really thrive!

We had an amazing experience with this school over the summer and we are trying to find a way to be there throughout the year and to have my second daughter attend it as well. We are even considering selling our place in the other part of Brooklyn and moving just so that we can be closer to Erudite! I was impressed with how well Alla could understand my daughter just from a couple of days at her school: what her difficulties are and the areas on which we need to work in her social and emotional development. My daughter has some special needs which makes it difficult sometimes to fit in with same-aged peers. Alla took the time and care to help my daughter play and socialize with the other kids and her language and social skills improved dramatically after just a couple of weeks at Erudite. Her almost-forgotten Russian came back and now I can finally converse with my daughter in Russian to my great delight!

I am thrilled that I was able to find a Russian immersion daycare in Park Slope! After much research and consideration Erudite Preschool was the best choice among the other daycares in the district. I have very high expectations about how children should be cared for, I expect provided organic meals, stimulating environment, kind and involved teachers, clean and bright facilities with big windows and outdoor play space. All that together is very hard to come by. At Erudite, the teachers speak to children on very clear good Russian language, and provide full immersion through reading, educational activities, learning poems and staging holiday shows. I was very anxious about leaving my son at daycare at first and he was not ready to separate, Alla and Nastya provided opportunity for long and smooth transition, we both together spent several hours at the daycare each week, until my son was ready. Now he runs out of the door once I mention going to daycare!

As a mom who believes in early education and stride for the best for my child, I can not be happier with Erudite Preschool! What a lovely, bright, home like place with amazing and talented educator Alla who runs the daycare! She is so enthusiastic and truly enjoys what she does and I can see it in everything: from home cooked organic healthy meals to a holiday special festivities with every kid involved. On a daily basis Alla and her amazing staff take a challenge to teach our kids simple yet authentic things at early age such as baking, painting, music, art play, math, reading (it’s a Russian language daycare) and many many more. Her approach to each child is very individual and custom. The daycare also has a private outdoor patio where kids play, explore and learn. Erudite has truly exceeded all of my highest expectations! So lucky we found them.
