I have been going to George at Clever for about a year and a half now. It has been fantastic each and every time. After moving to the city, I was hesitant to try out a new barber after going to my old barber back home for years. However, the haircuts I’ve received from George have been exactly what I asked for every time. They’re consistent and look good, which is exactly what I need. The price is $44 for a haircut. Definitely a fair price for the service and about the same as other shops in the area. Also fair considering George goes above and beyond. For example, I usually shave my face before a haircut but didn’t have time today. George went ahead and cleaned my face and neck up without me even asking and without charging anything extra. This is the kind of service they provide at Clever Barber, and especially with George. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

Had a great experience at Clever Barber on Atlantic (great location too, plenty of trains nearby). George cut my hair and did an excellent job: took his time, paid attention to the details, and made sure everything looked right before wrapping up. Great conversationalist too. The cut came out clean and exactly what I was looking for... I'll be back next month.
