We have been a BPOS Family since September 2023 and couldn't be happier. During our first tour with Carmelo Piazza, we immediately knew BPOS was a special place. Over the last couple years, we've had the privilege of watching our son flourish in his classrooms (both PK2 and PK3). Every aspect of the BPOS approach is intentional and well executed. The foundation of a science and math based education during these formative years is incredible. It is such a joy to see our son apply lessons he's learning in the classroom to real life scenarios and get excited to talk about them at home. The BPOS approach to teaching is a rewarding philosophy and makes learning fun for children. We were immediately impressed with the integration of specialists (physical movement, foreign language, dance/music) at such a young age. This programming makes every day exciting for our son and his classmates and we love asking questions about each class. The faculty support and administrative staff is also truly remarkable. Since Day 1, we've felt supported and heard. I can't say enough about all the wonderful things they do for BPOS families. They encourage us to be involved, collaborative and forward with our thoughts and questions. The BPOS faculty leverages the BrightWheel app which makes communication and awareness on a daily basis seamless. Parent involvement is celebrated and the teachers take their responsibilities as educational navigators seriously. They spark joy, encourage creativity and support children throughout their development. Every single staff member at BPOS is kind, welcoming, warm and wonderful to work with. It makes being a parent there so easy. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience. Every aspect of the BPOS approach is phenomenal and we've already signed our younger son up for their 2's program this Fall 2025. Thank you to everyone at BPOS for their tremendous care in all that they do to make children, parents and families feel like a special member of the community. Thank you Carmelo & BPOS!!!

Great teachers, great initiatives, great administration! The Brooklyn Preschool of Science has been fantastic. It was amazing to our son come home, pick up a toy, and drop it at our feet and say: “Gravity!” Or after the class raised a butterfly and released it, while reading him The Very Hungry Caterpillar, to have him point at the cocoon near the end and say “chrysalis”. And their initiatives are not limited to science, they also have music, language, and physical activities. Most importantly, the teachers and administration all truly care about the development of their students. Carmelo and his staff will take time to meet with both parents and students on an individual basis. Highly recommended.

You can tell just by walking into the school the amount of investment that goes back into making it a really fun environment for the kiddos. I went on other school tours but BPOS had a different energy that other schools lacked. Kids ran up to the director as he gave tour because they were so excited to see him. And he gives the tour with a lot of passion. The greetings every morning are warm, the curriculum is stem focused and fun. It’s so impressive what they are able to teach to such young children at this school. Family is a big focus at this school, and I feel part of the community just as much as my little scientist is!

It’s the best & most equipped pre-school in the entire district. You get back what you pay as it’s top notch programming & kids are exposed to a science integrated curriculum, athletics, Spanish music & yoga specialists. They have puppeteers & African animal 🦔 rescuers visiting the school. They have so many fun theme days for the kids! It bled our pockets but we were paying for programming that is definitely worth it, my son is nurtured in a safe & loving environment without any undesired indoctrination of any kind. BPOS is sensitive to the different cultures and backgrounds for kids. My son got exposed to things that I have never been exposed to and learns so much everyday! Every day there is something special in that school. I am so happy that I enrolled him there. I truly believe it’s the best, I actually take the subway from Park Slope to bring my son there, because out of all the schools I researched and visited, nothing beats it, especially with what they have to offer. Look no further & trust me on this because I am a previous educator, and know a great school when I see one. I feel blessed that my son went to BPOS this year because I know he’s getting the best experience and education. They really do have the most caring staff too. It’s a great community. I hope that BPOS would keep their high standards. My son frequently comes home with gifts & toys from the school. It’s like Christmas every day :)) he loves it there & is always happy & smiling telling me about the exciting things he’s done or seen, or what animals he pet! I wish I went to a school like that when I was younger lol 😂

Brooklyn Preschool of Science is nothing short of amazing. The school is bright and colorful, filled with adorable animals, robots, 3D printers, music, and laughter. The staff is warm and friendly, making it a place our kid was excited to go to. They have a hands-on approach to learning that really resonates with children. By blending fun with education and experimentation, they worked hard to create a foundation for future learning. Case in point… our daughter attended BPoS for two years, and now she’s a Straight-A student in middle school on the robotics team. We love the Brooklyn Preschool of Science!
